I drink at least 3 cups of coffee a day. I can't start my day without a cup and I like to have one after every meal. While I'm painting, I might also take a coffee break to help me gather my thoughts and to rest my eyes for a bit. This coffee cup was set-up in a room with north facing light on a fairly overcast day. I tried to capture some of the reflections on the cup as the sun came out. This painting is varnished, framed and ready to hang on a wall. It costs $250 and is currently hanging at the Lyme Art Association.
